To extend students’ knowledge of material, scale, methods and production, fabrication and finishing processes and their application to a variety of interior architecture projects. This studio focused on designing a retail store, for me, Oscar Wylee, a boutique optometrist and eye wear store.

This store has been designed around the metaphor of 'framed glasses'.  The joinery display units communicate how glasses are framed, yet transparent and clear. The store is open and symmetrical, alike a pair of glasses. This creates a narrative for the users to explore while in store.
